Gratian Bernard Mali is a distinguished Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania, Registered Tax Consultant, and Founder & Managing Partner of Ardean Law Chambers, established in 2011. With over 17 years of professional experience in law, taxation, and corporate advisory, he is widely recognized for his expertise in Corporate Law, Intellectual Property, Taxation, Real Estate, Employment, and Debt Recovery Management.
Mr. Mali holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Dar es Salaam, specializing in Intellectual Property, Insurance, and Tax Law, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation. His career began with reputable institutions such as the Attorney General’s Office and Mauggo & Co. Advocates, before advancing to senior legal roles in private practice and government agencies.
As a legal strategist, he has advised leading corporations, international organizations, and government institutions in Tanzania and abroad. He serves as exclusive representative of Atradius Collection and Credilex Global Recovery SLP in Tanzania, and his client portfolio includes multinational companies, non-profits, and high-value investors.
Mr. Mali is also a seasoned academic, having lectured at Kampala International University (Dar es Salaam Campus) and Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College, and an accomplished publisher in Corporate, Tax, Land, and Intellectual Property Law. He is a member of the Tanganyika Law Society, East Africa Law Society, Tanzania Tax Consultants Association, and Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators.
